My name is Iran Rodrigues and I have started dbms-notes.com as a scratchpad where I could put together a number of technical notes on Oracle and SQL Server database administration and database programming. A notebook of sorts. A database administrator and software analyst with 10+ year experiences in the area, my current technical certifications include: Oracle 11g Certified Professional Oracle 10g Certified Professional Oracle 11g Certified Pl/SQL Developer Associate Oracle Data Warehousing 11g Certified Implementation Specialist I am originally from Brazil, where I attended the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and received my degree in Computer Science. I have worked with design, maintenance and tuning of Oracle database systems in the United States and in Brazil since 1996, where I also provided extensive technical training, including programming, design of database systems and Oracle official database courses.
